Free potluck sign up sheet
Fill in the event, share one link, and guests pick what they will bring. No account for you, no account for them, and nobody can sign up for a dish that is already taken.

Your sheet is ready
Bookmark the host link. It is the only way to edit the sheet, remove a sign-up or delete it. We do not send it by email, and this browser keeps a copy under “My sheets” below.

Saved in this browser only, with the host link, so you can find them again.
How the sheet works
- Set up the list. Pick a starting list or build your own: categories like Mains and Desserts, with a quantity for each item, such as “Rolls x3”.
- Share the guest link. You get two links. The guest link goes in the group chat or the invitation. The host link stays with you.
- Guests claim an item. They tap “I’ll bring this”, type a name and add the dish and a dietary note if they like. The count goes down for the next person.
- Check the table. The host view shows who is bringing what and what is still missing, and copies the list to paste into a message.
A guest never sees an account page. The first thing they see is the list, and the whole thing takes two taps on a phone: one to choose, one to confirm.
What guests see
Each item shows a row of dots, one per portion needed. A filled dot is a claimed portion, so a glance tells you where the gaps are. Claimed items list the name, the dish and the dietary note beside them.

Made for the usual potluck occasions
Every starting list can be edited line by line. If you are planning one of these, there is a sheet with a tuned list: Thanksgiving potluck sheet, Friendsgiving potluck sheet, Christmas potluck sheet, Office potluck sheet.
For ideas on what to ask people for, see potluck ideas by category. For the planning side, read how to organize a potluck.
Free, and what the paid passes add
A free sheet takes up to 20 sign-ups and 25 items and shows a small “Made free at Potluck Sign Up” line. That covers most dinners at home. For a big office party or a church supper there are two one-time passes: the Event Pass for $4.99 and the Holiday Season Pass for $9.99. Neither is a subscription. See pricing.
Purchases are not open yet. Everything on this page works today on the free plan.
Questions
Is the potluck sign up sheet free?
Yes. A free sheet takes up to 20 sign-ups and 25 items, needs no account, and stays online until 30 days after the event. The Event Pass ($4.99, one time) lifts those limits for a bigger gathering.
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. A guest opens the link in any browser, taps the item they will bring, types a name and is on the list. There is no sign-in, and guests are never asked for an email address.
What stops two people from bringing the same dish?
Each item has a number needed, like “Pie x3”. Every sign-up uses up one. When the last one is taken the button disappears and the item reads “All claimed”. If two guests tap at the same moment, the server accepts one of them and tells the other to pick something else.
How do I change the sheet after I share it?
Open the host link, the one that ends in ?k= followed by a long key. It shows the same page with editing tools: change the details, add or rename items, remove a sign-up, lock the sheet or delete it. The key is the only way in, so bookmark it. This browser also keeps a copy under “My sheets” on the home page.
Can a guest change their mind?
Yes. After signing up, the guest sees an “Undo my claim” button next to their name, on the same phone or computer. The host can also remove any sign-up from the host view.
Can I print the list?
Yes. The host view has a print button and a PDF download of the sheet as it stands, and the printable page makes a blank sheet for people who would rather write with a pen. Free copies carry one small “Made free” line at the bottom.
Can I delete a sheet?
Yes. The host view has a delete button that removes the sheet, its items and every sign-up from the database at once. Sheets that nobody deletes are removed 30 days after the event date.
