Friendsgiving sign up sheet
Friendsgiving is half the cooking and twice the chaos. Put the dishes on a list, drop the link in the group chat, and let people pick.

A sign up sheet that fits a friend group
A Friendsgiving usually has fewer rules than a family Thanksgiving, which is exactly why a list helps. Nobody wants to be the one who texts “who is bringing what?” to twelve people on three separate threads. One link, one list, and the group chat can go back to being about the games.
This list leans toward appetizers and drinks, because a younger crowd tends to graze before the meal. It also has a vegetarian main and a no-alcohol drinks line, so everyone has something to eat and something to hold.
What is on the friendsgiving starting list
The Friendsgiving list suits eight to fourteen people and gives shared items, like pies and wine, a quantity so several friends can take part.

Change any line, add your own, or delete what you do not need before you create the sheet.
Making a Friendsgiving potluck run itself
Decide the theme of the room before you decide the menu. Some groups assign a country, some a dish from childhood. Put the theme in the note to guests and it shows at the top of the shared sheet.
Small apartments run out of oven space first. Mark who is bringing something that is served cold or room temperature, and ask for a few of those. Tell people to bring a serving spoon with their dish, and add a line for extra chairs if your place is short of them.
Questions
What should a Friendsgiving host provide?
Usually the main, the table, the plates and a place to sit. Everything else can come from guests. If you would rather not cook the main, add it as a line on the sheet and let a friend claim it.
How do I handle a guest who forgets to sign up?
Guests can add an item that is not on the list from the guest page, and it lands under Other. As host you can also rename or remove anything from the host view.
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. A guest opens the link in any browser, taps the item they will bring, types a name and is on the list. There is no sign-in, and guests are never asked for an email address.
Can a guest change their mind?
Yes. After signing up, the guest sees an “Undo my claim” button next to their name, on the same phone or computer. The host can also remove any sign-up from the host view.
Is the potluck sign up sheet free?
Yes. A free sheet takes up to 20 sign-ups and 25 items, needs no account, and stays online until 30 days after the event. The Event Pass ($4.99, one time) lifts those limits for a bigger gathering.
