How to use the printable sheet
Pin the sheet to the fridge, the break room board or a clipboard by the door. Guests write their name and the dish in the first two columns, pick a category, and tick a dietary note by writing it in the last column. Ruled rows are ten millimetres tall, enough for handwriting without a squint.
Fifteen rows fit on one page. More rows add pages, and each page repeats the column headings. The PDF is built in your browser, so the title and date you type are not sent anywhere.
Paper or online?
A printed sheet works when everyone is in the same building. An online sheet works when people are not, and it stops two people from choosing the same dish. You can do both: make an online sign up sheet and print it from the host view, so the fridge copy matches the list on screen. Holiday versions are on the Thanksgiving and office pages.
Questions
Is the printable potluck sign up sheet free?
Yes. The PDF is free with one small line at the bottom of each page that says where it was made. The Event Pass prints without the line once purchases open.
Does it work with A4 paper?
Yes. Choose A4 in the paper list. The page count and the row heights adjust to the shorter or longer page.
Can I print more than one page?
Yes. Set the number of rows up to 60. Each page repeats the column headings and is numbered.
Can I type the names in before printing?
Not on the blank sheet; it is meant for pens. To print a sheet with names already on it, make an online sheet and print it from the host view.
